Okay, thanks!

Just to be sure that I have understood you correctly: Essentially this means that if I'm running mobile 3.1 and go to a page where there is a total of 500mb worth of video, it will automatically start downloading all that to my phone without me knowing nor being able to see the progression of the download?

Couldn't it be possible to (like with scorm-packages) have a download icon that enables the user to download one specific embedded film, so it is available offline? In this way the user would be able to control how much is downloaded on their phone and then be able to plan any offline training activities better.

In this line of thought, we have been experimenting a bit with vimeo/youtube embedded video instead (until the video functionality embedded in moodle got working properly), but this, however, also seems to be causing problems in the app. Eventhough we embed them using moodle's own "embed media" tool it doesn't work. It shows the frame for the video, there's just nothing there. You can see this in our test course also.

Secondly, in terms of linking internally in the course (in the app), unfortunately it doesn't work for us. It keeps referring to the mobile web browser. We are all using the latest moodle mobile version and our moodle installation is 3.0.2. You can check that out using this user:
