moodle 1.14 can't connect to moodle server 2.8

hi,

i have setup a private moodle server, it is version 2.8. and i tried moodle 1.13 on android and IOS, both can connect to server successfully.

while i have another androide device which is a tablet and running android 4.1.1, with moodle app 1.14, can't connect to the moodle server.

it says " the device is not connected and there is no cached information available for the option requested".

Anyone know what is happening?
